• How many guests can stay at The Longhouse?

  The house comfortably sleeps sixteen across five bedrooms, with additional space for children or extra guests by arrangement. For larger celebrations and weddings, we can host up to around sixty for a seated dinner in the hall and on the terrace.

• How do I book?

  Nightly stays are booked directly through our Airbnb listing, where you'll find live availability and pricing. For weddings, retreats, corporate off-sites or multi-week stays, please write to us and we'll tailor an offer.

• What's included?

  Full use of the house and grounds, private dock, hammam, wellness room, kitchen, dining hall, library, outdoor lounges and firepit. Linens, towels, Wi-Fi and starter supplies are provided, and final cleaning is included in the price. Firewood is available on-site.

• Can we host a wedding or event?

  Yes. The hall, terrace and garden are made for celebrations. We work with a small circle of local caterers, florists and musicians and are happy to introduce you.

• Is there a hammam and swimming access?

  Yes — a stone hammam and a deep soaking tub, with direct access to the fjord from the private dock.

• How do we get there from Oslo?

  About forty-five minutes by car from central Oslo, fifty from Oslo Gardermoen airport. Public transport reaches Drøbak, with a short taxi from there. Private transfers can be arranged on request.

• Is the house family- and pet-friendly?

  Families are very welcome. Well-behaved dogs are considered on a case-by-case basis — please mention them when enquiring.

• What about accessibility?

  The property sits on a rocky slope with stairs between levels. Please contact us to talk through specific needs; we'll do our best to accommodate.
